R is really really cool. It beats the snot out of excel, holds its own against SAS and makes SPSS cry like a whiny lion with a thorn stuck in its paw. R is bitchin’. But R really suffers from a name problem, not only is it not sexy, it’s actually unsexy, it may even go so far as to be a lame name. In addition certain searches for help about R are utterly useless.

For these two very compelling reasons I suggest a rename of R to RarR, not only is RarR inherently sexy, it is exceedingly easy to search for statistics related things on the Internets.
